Generative AI is often seen as a promising solution for automatically marking open-ended exam questions. But what does it really take to make it work in practice?

In this event, four Dutch universities—Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of Groningen, TU Delft, and University of Amsterdam—will share their use cases. They’ll present their approaches, experiments, outcomes, and lessons learned so far.

We’ll explore questions like: How do we ensure AI applications are both productive and acceptable to users? And how do we align them with legal and ethical frameworks?

The event is open to educators and education professionals across all sectors—from vocational education to universities.
