AI & Data Science Day
The flagship annual event of the UvA Data Science Centre returns on 30 October 2025 as AI & Data Science Day. This year’s theme is ‘Data Science and AI as Teamwork’, and the event will be hosted in the brand-new University Library in Amsterdam.
Join us to explore the latest developments in AI and data science at the UvA and beyond, and discover how collaboration across disciplines and skills brings together the right ingredients to solve real-world problems and create impact.
The event brings together researchers, industry experts, and students for inspiring presentations, poster sessions, and interactive workshops. There will be ample opportunity for cutting-edge discussions and networking.

Thursday, 30 October 2025
- 9:30 – 13:30 Morning programme with workshops, including lunch
- 13:30 – 17:00 Afternoon programme with keynote and poster sessions, including networking drinks
