EU zet nieuwe stappen naar digitale soevereiniteit met het DIGITAL Europe Programma
Met het nieuwe DIGITAL Europe Programma maakt de Europese Unie een krachtig statement over de toekomst van digitale technologie en soevereiniteit. Dit programma belooft de manier waarop Europa digitale innovatie benadert, fundamenteel te veranderen
Het DIGITAL Europe Programma is een sleutelinitiatief van de EU om Europa zowel groener als meer digitaal te maken, met een focus op duurzaamheid en technologische vooruitgang. Met een budget van €7,5 miljard ondersteunt het programma projecten op het gebied van supercomputing, AI, cyberbeveiliging, digitale vaardigheden en digitale technologieën, essentieel voor het economisch herstel en de digitale transformatie. Het werkt samen met andere EU-programma's om een inclusieve digitale toekomst te bouwen, gericht op het versterken van de digitale soevereiniteit van Europa en het bevorderen van innovatie en concurrentie.
