Pacmed wins regional round of the Zorginnovatieprijs 2025

Pacmed Critical offers an innovative AI solution for Intensive Care. The dashboard provides healthcare professionals with a clear overview of patient and department status, supporting decisions such as safely discharging patients from the ICU. The solution is already in use at hospitals like Amsterdam UMC and OLVG and is currently being implemented at Medisch Spectrum Twente.
During the regional preliminary round, organized by Zorg2040 partners including Amsterdam Economic Board and AmsterdamAI, Pacmed was selected as the winner from a range of promising healthcare innovations. The final will take place on March 13 at the Health Valley Event, where a jury will award the grand prize of €10,000, alongside a €5,000 public prize.
Pacmed is proud of the recognition and sees the award as motivation to further develop its technology. "Our software not only assists doctors but also helps healthcare professionals learn from it. We see that our system provides new insights into risk factors, improving patient care," says co-founder Wouter Kroese.
The national winner will be announced on April 9 at the Zorg & ICT conference in Utrecht. The public can vote for their favorite innovation starting March 13 via zorginnovatie.nl.
