Global Innovation Index 2023
The Netherlands remains a global innovation frontrunner, ranking 7th worldwide in the 2023 Global Innovation Index (GII). The annual report assesses innovation capabilities of various countries and highlights the Netherlands' particularly strong business ecosystem including a high level of logistics performance, startup financing, university-industry research collaboration, knowledge and creative output.
