ICAI Announces Strategic Collaboration with 18 Dutch Knowledge Institutions
As of September 1st, the Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence (ICAI) has officially become a collaboration between 18 Dutch knowledge institutions. With the signing of the agreement by these institutions, a nationwide ecosystem of knowledge institutions is now involved, enhancing the governance of the ICAI network.
This official partnership marks a step in them strengthening the ICAI community, with the goal of ensuring a sustainable future for the network and all partners within the labs. ICAI will continue to focus on attracting, developing, and retaining AI talent, as well as achieving impact through the research conducted in the labs. All efforts will be aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
ICAI will transition from initiating ideas and creating impact to now concentrating on fully realizing that impact within and alongside the broader ecosystem. The emphasis will be on building bridges between the labs, sharing experiences and content, and showcasing the impact of the labs through blogs and videos.
With this strengthened collaboration and renewed focus, ICAI builds on the knowledge and experience gained since its inception in 2018, positioning itself as a frontrunner in the Dutch AI sector. By joining forces with knowledge institutions across the country, ICAI is committed not only to academic excellence but also to the practical application of AI technologies that have a positive impact on society. The collective efforts in the labs, supported by network partners, promise a future where AI plays a crucial role in addressing societal challenges and fostering innovation in the Netherlands.
Congratulations ICAI! We are proud to be a part of this ecosystem.
