About the Event
This event will dive into some of the most pressing ethical and societal challenges in AI. Key highlights include:
- Plenary Debate: Featuring Virginia Dignum, Cristina Zaga, Matthew Dennis, and Vincent Blok, this intellectual debate will explore fundamental tensions in AI, such as balancing private interests with the public good, the ethics of military applications, job displacement vs economic growth, and regulation vs innovation.
- Roundtable Discussions: After the debate, attendees will break into smaller, focused groups. Topics include AI’s impact on democracy, human behavior change, and the Netherlands' role in global AI collaboration.
- Deep Dives: Experts will present case studies covering a wide range of AI topics, from gender equality in AI to ethical dilemmas in healthcare applications.
