Trust and Power in Platform Auditing
On 28 May, SPUI25 hosted a panel on the promises and pitfalls of this emerging industry. Experts explored the trustworthiness of audit structures, the power dynamics at play, and how traditional firms and AI startups are shaping the future of platform oversight.
The event was part of the research project Trust in Digital Markets, Keeping Tabs on Systemic Risks, in collaboration with the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Law.
