The Dutch Belgian Database Day 2024
At DBDBD 2024, junior and senior researchers from Belgium and The Netherlands can present their recent results, and meet fellow researchers in the field of data management. It is an excellent opportunity to meet up with your Dutch/Belgian colleagues, and to get informed about the (recent) database-related research performed in Dutch/Belgian universities. The workshop welcomes non-Dutch/Belgian participants (presentations are in English). DBDBD has a tradition of favouring presentations by junior researchers.
The workshop consists of oral and poster presentations. There are no printed proceedings. Abstracts of oral and poster presentations will be published on the DBDBD 2024 website.
In the final session of DBDBD 2024 we will host a number of talks from local industry as well as invited contributions by international guests from the Dijkstra Fellowship ceremony the previous day. This part of the program will be open as a meetup for a wider public interested in data management.
The registration fee is €40 for PhD students and €50 for all other participants (note: SIKS covers the cost for its PhD students — check the option in the form if you are a SIKS PhD student). This fee can be paid digitally on the registration platform. We do not accept bank transfers. We need this money to pay for coffee breaks and lunch (the drinks and snacks are provided by us, AmsterdamAI). After registration, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and another e-mail confirming your payment. Further registration details can be found on the registration platform.
For questions related to your registration, contact the organisation committee at: dbdbd2024*cwi.nl.
